I honestly think that crying over a book is one of the most prominent sign of compassion for humanity. You’re crying over someone who isn’t really there, doesn’t really exist, but you still feel for them as if you have known them your entire life.

It’s as though you think that type of treatment is acceptable. As though you think just because someone was there for you once, they are permanent and will never be pushed away. I guarantee you, the more you push, the further they will go. They may love you but the pain you put them through by mistreating them will exceed the importance of you in their life.
